Understand your utility bill rates:
Water
$6.00 base rate per month plus tier usage rates
Sewer
$4.50 per month base charge plus $5.30 per 1000 gallons.
Waste Water Treatment Plant
$6.05 per month base charge plus $5.05 per 1,000 Gallons.
Storm Water
$7.75 per month.
Sewer fees are based on Water consumption. This means when you use water it is assumed that you use sewer. When you water your lawn this can add up. You may install a second water meter for outside watering so that you are charged for water only on this meter (Sewer & WWTP charges and base rates are NOT applied to a 2nd Water Meter.)
Second Water Meter Information and Fees
Visit the city office to apply for a permit, or download the 2nd Water Meter Permit Form.
Purchase the cellular radio head and meter from the city office for $350.00.
Have a plumber install the meter. **Do not make this a deduct meter** When the installation is complete, please contact the city office and arrange to have the meter sealed and inspected.
